How I feel about my test

This week was a testing week I tried all my my best on every single test I did.It was hard. I felt scared and nervous at the same time. I think I did well. I hope I will improve in my result next time.

Shapes Tangram

In maths we are using manipulate other shapes to make a figure, letter a bigger shapes.

The following shapes we used was:  5 triangles ( 2 big, 2 little and 1 medium ), 1 little square and 1 parallelogram. These pieces are called a Tangram. 

My Rugby Experience

Last Wednesday I went to represent Saint Pius X Catholic School at the cluster rugby tournament. It was held at Point England Reserve. There were so many schools we had to compete against other schools. I played half back and first five. Our first game was up and I was so nervous and scared that I might freeze.

When I got the ball, I ran like a cheetah. I saw a huge guy getting ready to tackle me so I hand off his face and he kiss the ground. As I got to the try line I dived on the ground and I scored a try!!! I was so happy. We won our first game.

Cross Country

Saint Pius X  school  had Cross country on Tuesday 13th August 2013.The Saint Pius X Cross country its a sport event.

Cross country is a long distance runaround the two times.

Students changed into their P.E gear, They all walked into the tennis courts and lined up into their age groups, from the 13 year olds to the 5 year olds.

Then one of  our school teacher Miss G announced the first runners and it was  the 12 and 13 years old, we all lineup at the front of the office and get  ready to run around the course two times.

The Senior Finished there race.They all sat down and cheered on the Juniors running on the field.Everyone had a great time at the Cross Country.

My Holiday

My school holiday was very boring, most of the time was spent playing games with Pauliasi and Jay. One day during the holidays Pauliasi, and I wanted to do something different, so we asked Tania if we could go swimming pools, and she said “yes”. We walked from Line Rd to the Panmure swimming pools, it was a very long walk. When we got to the swimming we were very happy because Pauliasi and I didn’t have to pay to swim.

In the swimming pool Pauliasi and I joined up with some other kids to play some games. Touch was my my favourite game we played at the swimming pool, there was 3 people in each team.

When we got tired of playing games we decided to get out of the pool and get changed. When we finished getting changed we walked back home, we were very tired. When I got home I went straight to my room and slept.

Fraction Level 3

I am learning to solve the problems by using  Reversibility at level 3

This task is about finding fractions of a given number

A farmer is selling some of his animals.

1.  The farmer sells ¼ of his 72 cows.  Show how to work out how many cows he sells.

4x__=72

4x10=40

4x8=32

40+32=72

Answer is 72

2. He sells ⅓ of his 45 pigs.  Show how to work out how many pigs he sells.

‘3x__=45

3x10=30

3x5=15

30+15=45

Answer is 15

3.   He sells ⅙ of his 84 sheep.  Show how to work out how many sheep he sells.

6x__=84

6x10=60

6x4=24

60+24=84

About myself.

I'm a young male. I have black straight hair and black round eyes like marbles.

I have smooth brown skin. I am slender and handsome and I eat like a giant big boy. I have got a tiny nose and small lips. I laugh like an annoying monkey and I also run like a cheetah.

I like going to music because I like to play many instruments and learn new songs.
